【Important】Reflection of consumption tax 10% on KENKEY and BIGLEMON system

Thank you for using KENKEY and BIGLEMON services.
In response to the revision of the consumption tax in Japan, BIGLEMON will reflect the new consumption tax 10% to transactions on BIGLEMON and service plans, following the patterns stated below.

【Selling/buying items on BIGLEMON】
■New 10% consumption tax will be applied to transactions below
・Buyer received the B/L on BIGLEMON (※1) on 1st October, 2019 or later (Pattern 4 of the diagram)
Therefore, taking the negotiation period into consideration, we will change the consumption tax to 10% from September 24th, 2019 on BIGLEMON.
Proforma Invoices and Invoices that are issued and/or amended on September 24th or later will be calculated with the new consumption tax 10%.
■Consumption tax will remain 8% for transactions below
・Seller issued the Proforma Invoice (※2) by September 23rd, 2019 (Pattern 2 of the diagram)
・Even though Seller issued the Proforma Invoice after September 24th, B/L was received on BIGLEMON by September 30th, 2019 (Pattern 3 of the diagram)
In this case, we will refund the difference of 2% to the Buyer.
※1 Time of "Buyer received the B/L on BIGLEMON" is stated as below.
・For transactions in Japan: When Buyer clicked "受領" button on BIGLEMON
・For international shipping transactions: When Seller (or Shinshin shouji in case of Yushutsu omakase service) attached a true copy of effective B/L on BIGLEMON and was confirmed by BIGLEMON Customer Support
※2 Time of "Seller issued the Proforma Invoice" is stated as below.
・For transactions in Japan: When Seller issued a "見積書" and the transaction status became "Waiting for Order"
・For international shipping transactions: When Seller issued a Proforma Invoice and the transaction status became "Waiting for Order"
However, regardless of the transaction status, if the 見積書 or Proforma Invoice was amended on September 24th, 2019 or later, new 10% consumption tax will be applied and the price will be re-calculated.
【Listing plans & Market price/Database search Service】
■New 10% consumption tax will be applied to cases below
・Plans with contacts that will end on October 1st, 2019 or later.
If your business plan or market price/database search service contract period is until October 2019 or later, we will request for additional payment.
On BIGLEMON system, all the plans and prices will be calculated with the new consumption tax 10% from September 24th, 2019.
If you applied for the service or renewed the contract before that date, the price on the invoice and the actual price we request for payment may differ. Sorry for the inconvenience.
